Hi, I’m Arielle!

I’m a wedding and portrait photographer based in Chicago, and I’ve been traveling the globe to document life and love since 2015. I believe in being authentic and real with each and every person that steps in front of my camera, and the images you’re about to see is reflective of that. The wedding industry is seemingly full of vendors trying to advertise themselves as being the most bubbly, love-loving people you’ll ever meet; and I am here to provide you with a genuine and fun photo experience. I don’t do cheesy or cookie cutter. I love candids and making you laugh. I am pretty laid back and easy going, and I make it my job to reduce any anxiety or stress you may feel about having your photos taken.

I graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, and I left a job in orthopaedics in 2015 to pursue photography full time. I love to travel and immerse myself in cultures different from my own, but as I grow older I’m learning that I’d take a beach and absolutely nothing to do over a busy city any day. I love to bake cinnamon rolls from scratch on a Sunday morning (because I’m a control freak in the kitchen and kneading dough is a stress reliever.) I also have a terrible sweet tooth. I love sunrises and sunsets and posting photos of clouds to my Instagram— I always catch my boyfriend smiling at me when I stop while we’re walking somewhere to look up at the sky. I love to competitively powerlift. And I guess I kinda love taking photos.

I have worked incredibly hard over the last seven years to perfect my craft as a visual story teller, and I pride myself in creating timeless images for you to hold on to long after you say “I do.” Your story through my lens. Genuine love and laughter; rain or shine, in a church or in your parent’s backyard.

Take a look around, scroll through my blog, and get in touch to ask any questions you may have. I will always be honest and transparent about my services.
